Harvest Restaurant

Farmer Ivor Chodkowski, the man who helped put the “farm” in Louisville’s vibrant “farm-to-table” movement, will put local farm-fresh foods on the tables at the eagerly awaited Harvest, a “locally grown” restaurant whose mission is to serve amazing food with locally sourced ingredients. Louisville’s reputation as one of the “foodiest towns in America” (according to Bon Appetit) is thanks largely to the bumper-crop of impressive culinary talent and the abundance of staggeringly great food from local producers and farmers, culminating in Chef Coby Lee Ming’s fresh take on year-round rustic regional cuisine celebrating seasonality and sustainability. Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery

Besides supporting franchisees and retailers, the family business has always made promotion of its core values and support of the community among the tenets of the company’s philosophy. It was in the namesake St. Andrews, Jamaica family bakery that Lowell Hawthorne and his family learned their love for making and giving good food, and the commitment to hard work. These ideals instilled by their parents, plus tireless drive and desire to bring the Caribbean experience to their new home, has helped the Hawthorne family turn the flagship bakery they opened in 1989 into the largest multi-unit operation of its kind in the nation.
